Western Astrology with Jenna Hunt

Added on Oct 21, 2006 - 04:08 AM - 0 Comments

I had an astrology reading this afternoon with Jenna Hunt and I can honestly say this was one of the best days I’ve had in a long time.  Perhaps it was her intuitive reading or the strong connection with another spirit that brought a flow of clarity, comfort, connection, and love.  I ended the day exuberantly, feeling uplifted.

Light Therapy

Added on Sep 11, 2006 - 04:30 PM - 0 Comments

Are you one of those people who gets the winter blues?  The days get shorter, there is less daylight, and maybe this makes you feel a bit down…
Do you work the night shift and feel as though your circadian rhythms are thrown off?  Or perhaps you just do not get enough light in your small office window?

Whatever the case, light therapy can help!  I have always been one of those people with bizarre sleeping habits, one week I sleep too much, the next week I can’t sleep at all.  Apparently sleeping at off times can cause mood swings and “circadian rhythm disorder.”  I took this Circadian Rhythm Assessment Test and this is what the results showed:

The Water Connoisseur’s Water Taste Test

Added on Jul 25, 2006 - 11:54 AM - 0 Comments

It can be challenging to select a brand of water while shopping.  While all bottles on the shelf contain the same basic substance, there are slight differences in purity, PH, mineral content etc.  Water is also affected by the bottle it is stored in.  Regardless, the most important thing to most consumers is taste.  So my associate and I set out and created our own “Water Connoisseur’s Taste Test.”  We ranked different brands of water on a scale from 1 to 3, 3 being the bests.  Check out the results:

Book Review: Feng Shui For The Soul by Denise Linn

Added on Jul 25, 2006 - 07:17 AM - 0 Comments

“Feng Shui For The Soul” written by Denise Linn, bestselling author of “Sacred Space” is a gem.  Denise teaches her readers to use their own inuitution to create a home for the soul.  She addresses the need to clear the negative energy from your home by instictually choosing which animate and inanimate objects belong.  Those that do not “feel” positive should be released.  Each object also has an appropriate location in the home. Denise descibes ways to awaken the natural forces of the universe in the home using one’s own personal wisdom.

Ionithermie - Spa Treatment for Detoxification (A Personal Favorite!)

Added on Jul 25, 2006 - 05:14 AM - 0 Comments

Ionithermie is a non-invasive technique that can assist the body’s lymphatic system to drain excess fluid and toxins.  Developed by a French physician in 1979, ionithermie is considered one of the most effective ways to reduce the appearance of cellulite, firm the body, and promote inch loss.  The treatment begins with the application of sea extracts and thermal clay accompanied by a mild stimulus, which contracts the muscles of the target area.

GoodPeopleStories.com

Added on Jul 17, 2006 - 11:08 PM - 0 Comments

GoodPeopleStories.com is a wonderful new website I recently discovered.  Essentially, it is a collection of user-submitted stories about good people.  Members can contribute as many stories as they like, organizing them by name and a short subtitle (For instance, “Jan Davis - Dedicated Teacher”).  The purpose of the website is to compile a list of uplifting stories so that people who make a difference in others’ lives receive the recognition they deserve.  The site also serves as a simple way of saying “Thank You.”  It is one of the cleverest ways to spread love and positive energy I’ve seen on the internet.  Check out the site here : Good People Stories
