About Gotham Acupuncture: A wide range of conditions are treated at Gotham, including gastrointestinal, respiratory, and gynecological complaints. However, the main focus of the clinic is to help patients break the cycle of pain and dysfunction whether due to sports injury, overuse, or postural weakness. The clinic is fast becoming a resource for many of the city's top personal trainers and fighting arts enthusiasts, with an individualized and practical approach to Chinese medicine which takes into account the whole being rather than just the injury alone. Rehabilitative exercises, dietary therapy, and other self-care methods are routinely given to patients who want to take charge of their health and learn more about prevention. Treatments are administered in a quiet, pleasant environment where you can relax and allow healing to begin.
About Steve Pang: As a student of martial arts, Steve's interest in Chinese medicine began as a first-person investment in health. As an acupuncturist, his focus on the concepts of traumatology has led to a pragmatic approach to the treatment and rehabilitation of injury, and has greatly informed his practice in the treatment of other conditions as well. He is a sought-after clinician, providing seminars on sports injury and rehab at martial arts schools, health clubs, and athletic centers throughout the Five Boroughs. Steve currently teaches Qigong at Tri-State College of Acupuncture.
