Ear Candling is a technique for clearing the ear canal and may often be used to avoid more invasive procedures. A hollow waxed cloth candle is placed in the top portion of the ear and then allowed to burn slowly, helping to draw out residue from the ear. Ear candling may be used to treat sinus conditions, sore throat, earache, swimmer's ear, some types of chronic headache, allergies, hearing difficulties and certain forms of dizziness and inner-ear air.
